Some opportunities are occasional or event-based. Others may involve recurring programs or partnerships.

Assignments are offered based on business needs and may vary in location, duration, responsibilities, age groups, and number of children.

WHAT YOU MAY DO

Your responsibilities will depend on the specific assignment and age group.

They may include:

• Providing safe, attentive, nurturing supervision• Caring for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, or mixed-age groups• Changing diapers and supporting toileting when caring for younger children• Preparing or serving bottles, snacks, and simple meals when required• Supporting feeding, naps, routines, and other age-appropriate care• Leading crafts, games, educational activities, movement, and play• Setting up and cleaning up children's activity areas• Welcoming children and helping them transition comfortably into an event or program• Managing groups of children using positive, age-appropriate guidance• Following individual family instructions and event/program procedures• Communicating professionally with parents, partners, venue staff, and The Nanny Loft® team• Monitoring attendance, check-in/check-out, and authorized pickup procedures when required• Responding appropriately to children's emotional, behavioral, and physical needs• Following allergy, medication, emergency, and safety procedures applicable to the assignment• Helping maintain a clean, organized, child-safe environment• Teaching or facilitating curriculum when appropriately trained and assigned• Adapting quickly when schedules, attendance, or event needs change

Not every team member will perform every responsibility.

Your assignments will be based on your qualifications, experience, training, and the needs of each event or program.

You do not have to be an instructor to join our Children's Events & Program Team.

COMPENSATION

$21–$50 per hour

Compensation varies based on the specific assignment, experience, qualifications, responsibilities, leadership expectations, and type of event or program.

Different assignments may have different hourly rates within the advertised range.

Event childcare, program support, lead assignments, program facilitation, and qualified instructional assignments may be compensated differently.

Being hired or accepted onto the team does not guarantee a particular hourly rate, number of assignments, or number of hours.

✅ TEAM EXPECTATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Because families and community partners trust us with children, safety and professionalism are non-negotiable.

Requirements may vary by assignment. Depending on the opportunity, team members may be required to meet the following:

• Be at least 18 years old• Possess a high school diploma or GED• Be legally authorized to work in the United States• Have relevant childcare, teaching, youth-program, educational, or related experience as required by the assignment• Have infant-care experience when assigned to care for infants• Maintain current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certification when required• Maintain current Mandated Reporter Certification when required• Maintain current Car Seat Safety Certification when transportation responsibilities require it• Successfully complete comprehensive background screening and required clearances• Maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation when required• Be physically able to safely perform assigned responsibilities, which may include lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting or playing on the floor, standing for extended periods, moving equipment or supplies, and responding quickly when necessary• Demonstrate knowledge of child development, infant safety, and safe-sleep practices when applicable• Complete required physical examination/health documentation within the required timeframe• Provide proof of required vaccinations when applicable to the position or assignment• Demonstrate strong communication, organization, judgment, reliability, and problem-solving skills• Communicate effectively in English when required for the assignment• Follow The Nanny Loft® policies, partner-site requirements, family instructions, and applicable safety procedures

Additional experience, certifications, clearances, training, health documentation, or program-specific qualifications may be required for particular assignments.
